Jonah Mendoza (He / Him / His) is a Houston, Texas born and raised singer, actor & enthusiastic mover.
Lauded for his quick and witty sense of humor, yet stoned faced exterior, Jonah has played some of the funniest and even some of the most reserved roles on stage and in front of the camera. Jonah loves to tell impactful stories, and enjoys the journey of bringing people together to share & experience art.

I strive to create art that is inclusive for POC and to amplify Latino representation both on stage and on screen
What’s The Buzz?
Jonah most recently performed as Doody in Grease with American Gothic Performing Arts Festival. This will have been Jonah’s fourth production of Grease, and second time playing the role of Doody!
Jonah performed as Chino in West Side Story with American Gothic Performing Arts Festival. Jonah is beyond honored and thrilled to finally have been in one of his top dream shows.
This spring, Jonah starred as Judas in Jesus Christ Superstar with La Comedia Theatre. Jonah received rave reviews and accolades for his performance in the role.
